Michael (Wayne) Adams was born in Killeen on February 13, 1946. He is the Director of the Creative Writing Concentration at the University of Texas at Austin. His novels include Blind Man's Bluff and Anniversaries in the Blood. His short stories have been included in Autrement and Texas Short Stories II.
